It’s capable of moving along with its owner. As you walk, the suitcase will roll itself with a maximum speed of 6.75 mph. This sleek case is capable of being positioned horizontally and vertically. It also comes with a motor that’s both inaudible and powerful. It can even transport other bags placed on top of the case.

This automatic suitcase will constantly adjust to your speed. It can also navigate through crowds easily – yes, even over tough terrain! If someone runs towards the robot, it will change its course so nobody gets hurt. Isn’t it amazing? Of course, that’s not all this incredible product offers!

Its battery will charge your devices through a standard electrical outlet and a USB port. The manufacturer, Travelmate Robotics, is based in San Francisco and they have developed this genius of a concept with only a team that consists of 26 members.

The company has launched its revolutionary design on IndieGoGo, a crowdfunding site, with a goal of $100,000 that it needs to reach so it can mass produce the suitcase. Travelmate Robotics is also taking preorders as keen buyers are getting impatient. The smallest size comes with a price tag of $1,099. The medium size is available for only $1,295, and the largest size is at $1,495.

You may be wondering how this futuristic technology is made possible. Well, it works alongside a smartphone app that constantly improves the autonomous function of the suitcase.

The suitcase is already TSA compliant. It comes with a GPS chip, which means you will be made aware of the location of your luggage at all times. The battery life of the suitcase is not quite long enough that it can last the entire duration of an international flight. Just a couple of months ago, IndieGoGo saw another luggage invention generate plenty of buzz, Modobag. It’s a suitcase that can double as a smart transport device. It has several handlebars with a maximum speed of 8 miles per hour, which is three times faster compared to the walking pace. Now, you can easily beat other passengers at boarding a plane if you want to run, of course.
